Our Story

All Kidding Aside...

This experience is one of a kind! Part connection and part education. It has been documented that touch and connection to animals heightens our serotonin levels, calms anxiety and all the while expands our human consciousness to nature. Our 10 goats (Nubian, Sannan, Pygmy & Hawaiian Highway Goats) get lots of attention not only from our farm community members but also from many of our guests, therefore they are super friendly and pet-able. Not to mention, their goofy goat behaviors especially with a their Goat Boat playground, will have you in stitches.

Frequently asked questions

Like a kidd in a candy store.

Have questions about our products or services? Feel free to read here, ask away via questionaire or of our Panilolo on site. Let's see if you can stump him/her!

What should we wear?

Like all outdoor activities, it depends on the weather and the season determines the weather. So please bring a sweatshirt and a close-toed pair of shoes.  Remember, our guys have heavy hooves. No perfumes please.

What if a goat gets aggressive with me?

Please notify the handler and he/she will put the goat on leash away from our guests.

What can I feed the goats?

Please only feed our Goatlantian Goats grass from our fields, the sweet treats and alfalfa we give you to give to them. PLEASE do not give them avocados, citrus or tomatoes.

May we utilize Social Media while there?

Absolutely. The only exceptions are if the Paniolo (goat wrangler) specifically requests not to be in any pictures or videos and videos/pictures of our community or community members is strictly prohibited.

How can I sponsor a goat with food, collar & keeper for a year?

We would so appreciate this kind gesture as farms are usually never the place for investment bankers. Please talk with your wrangler who will get you in touch with Sequoia!

Hawi, HI  96719

DIRECTIONS FROM KONA:

Drive North up Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy 19 (ocean will be on your left), pass all the hotel entrances and make a left at the HAWI/WAIMEA junction. Travel along the Akoni Pule Hwy 270 for about 10 miles until you hit Hawi Town and at the "Welcome to Historic Kohala" sign make a right onto Kahei Rd. Dive up the long road past Hook Rd and all the way up and over the bridge and make a left at the huge PUEO RIDGE FARMS/PUEO'S NEST sign, drive down the short driveway and park straight in at the fence on the right.

DIRECTIONS FROM WAIMEA:

Either drive Hwy 19 towards Kona and continue right at the junction towards Hawi OR drive up and over Kohala Mountain Rd (much more senic and 1 of my 3 favorite roads on BI) to Kohala. DO NOT MAKE GO ACROSS RED CINDER RD TO GET TO KAHEI... you will need a REAL 4x4.  Make a left onto Hawi Rd. Dive all the way into town and make a left at the Minut Stop Gas Station and go through town and make a left onto Kahei Rd. Dive up the long road past Hook Dr all the way up and over the bridge and make a left at the huge PUEO RIDGE FARMS/PUEO'S NEST sign, drive down the short driveway and park straight in at the fence on the right.

Ta da! You made it!
